Separate structural subdivision ‘Rivne Technical Professional College of the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering’
General information about the institution
The history of the educational institution dates back to Technical School No. 2, which opened in 1970. On September 1, 1979, the educational institution was renamed into City Vocational School No. 10.
In 1997, Vocational School No. 10 and Vocational School No. 38 were merged into Specialized Vocational School No. 10.
In 2000, Specialized Vocational School No. 10 was reorganized into a higher education institution – Technical College of Rivne State Technical University, which was succeeded by Technical College of the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering.
In accordance with Article 36 of the Law of Ukraine “On Higher Education”, Article 31 of the Law of Ukraine “On Professional Pre-Higher Education”, Technical College was renamed in 2020 into a separate structural subdivision “Rivne Technical Professional College of the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering”.

Educational programs
Provides vocational education in 8 professions of the educational qualification level “skilled worker” (with a training period of 1 to 3 years) on the basis of the license of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine series AE No. 458607 dated 01.07.2014 and the certificate of certification series RD No. 045709 dated 12.01.2018:
-7137 Electrician of lighting and lighting networks. 7241 Electrician of power networks and electrical equipment;
– 7136 Installer of sanitary systems and equipment. 7212 Electric welder of manual welding;
– 7242 Locksmith of control and measuring devices and automation (electronics);
-8159 Chemical analysis laboratory assistant;
– 7241 Electrician for repair and maintenance of electrical equipment;
– 4212 Cashier (in a bank). 4212 Controller in a bank;
-7212 Electric and gas welder. 7212 Electric welder on automatic and semi-automatic machines;
– 7241 Electrician of commercial and refrigeration equipment.
The training of professional junior bachelors (professional pre-higher education) is carried out in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science №261-l of 07.12.2020, No. 223-l of 12.06.2023 due to changes in the list of fields of knowledge and specialties (duration of study from 2 to 4 years):
-071 “Accounting and Taxation”;
– 072 “Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market”;
-101 ‘Ecology’;
-113 “Applied Mathematics”;
-133 “Industrial Engineering”;
-174 “Automation, Computer-Integrated Technologies and Robotics”;
– 161 “Chemical Technology and Engineering”;
– 192 “Construction and Civil Engineering”.
The college also trains bachelors (first level of higher education) in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science №17-l of February 11, 2021, in the specialty 161 “Chemical Technology and Engineering”.
In addition, the college provides retraining in 2 professions of the educational qualification level “skilled worker” (training period up to 10 months) on the basis of the license of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine series AE № 458607 dated 01.07.2014 and certificate of certification series RD № 045709 dated 12.01.2018:
-7241 Electrician for repair and maintenance of electrical equipment;
-7212 Electric and gas welder.
According to the decision of the National Qualifications Agency, SSS ‘Rivne Technical Professional College of NUWEE’ is accredited as a Qualification Center for professional qualifications:
-Electrician for repair and maintenance of electrical equipment
-Electric welder on automatic and semi-automatic machines.

Student staff
As of 1 January 2025, the number of students and pupils is 1281:
– 656 students of the educational and professional degree ‘professional junior bachelor’
– 24 students of the educational degree ‘’bachelor’’
– 516 students of the educational programme ‘’skilled worker’’.
Cooperation
Starting in 2020, SSS “Rivne Technical Professional College of the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering” took part in the German-Ukrainian project “Partnership in the field of Vocational Education between the Dresden Chamber of Commerce and Vocational Education Institutions in Western Ukraine”. The project lasted from 2020 to 2024.
In October 2024, SSS “Rivne Technical Professional College of the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering” presented the project “Construction of laboratory installations in the study of professional cycle disciplines of specialty 174 ”Automation, computer-integrated technologies and robotics” to the International Skill.ED project competition, which is supported and directly implemented by the Kronospan Foundation, headquartered in Brashov. The result is a victory in this Skill.ED grant project (March 2025).
